BLOODHOUNDS and BLOOD PRESSURE

Before I delve into this week’s health tip, you already know I’d share something about my week with you, right? If you didn’t know, expect it every time now.🤭😂 This time, it was a movie. Yes, you read right; a movie.🤣

I was indeed enjoying myself until I decided to use my own hands to punch in this drama on Netflix.

The title was suspicious, but I couldn’t help it. I started, and by the fourth episode, my body was already hot! I wanted to fight!!! Ladies and mentlegen, little did I know that episode 1-4 was just the tip of an iceberg. What in the emotional rollercoaster was BLOODHOUNDS?! Episode 5-8!🥲 Pressure, anger, goosebumps, tears. I was screaming in the middle of the night. I screamed so much, I started to think about my blood pressure when I woke up. But Tolani is just fine, with a blood pressure reading well within the healthy range.😂 Oddly enough, that movie experience sparked today’s discussion about….. “your blood pressure”.

In today's hectic world, it's easy to overlook the importance of monitoring our blood pressure, especially with the misconception that hypertension is solely an older person’s concern, which is totally not true/right. It is not a thing associated with a particular age.

Keeping our blood pressure in check is vital for our overall health and well-being. High blood pressure, or hypertension, often goes unnoticed but can significantly increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and other serious health issues. On the flip side, low blood pressure can lead to symptoms like dizziness and fainting.

So, let's make it a habit to check our blood pressure regularly, especially if there's a family history of hypertension or related conditions. Chronic stress and other factors can also contribute to high blood pressure, so incorporating stress-reducing techniques like deep breathing, meditation, yoga, or simply spending time in nature (I totally recommend) can make a world of difference.

There's plenty more to discuss on this topic, but let's take it one step at a time. I’m excited, eagerly waiting to write to you again. I hope you have an amazing week!

Warmest regards,
Tolani❤️
